This study was conducted to determine the genetic parameters and character association in elite lines of lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.). Twenty four genotypes of lentil including four varieties were studied for heritability, genetic advance and genetic correlation for seed yield/plant. The maximum variability was observed for seed yield/plot followed by pods/plant, days to50% flowering, days to maturity and plant height. Heritability estimates were observed high for the following character viz., pods/plant, 100 seed weight, number of branches/plant and plant height. High genetic advance coupled with high heritability estimates for pods/plant and moderate heritability coupledwith high genetic advance for the character seed yield/plot indicating the some influence of environmental variation. Seed yield/plot had significant positive correlation with plant height, pods/plant and cluster/plant.
