The study was conducted in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh. Regarding the extent of knowledge and adoption, majority of the fish farmers had medium level of knowledge (58.78%) and low level of adoption (66.25 percent) with favorable (48.75%) opinion towards the composite fish culture technology. Majority of farmers had medium level of knowledge. While, 56.1% respondents showed knowledge gap for control measures for disease and insects followed by 50.46% respondents for eradication of weed, fertilizer application in pond and selection of seed and their ratio. Majority of respondents (66.25%) had low level of adoption, while, wide gap in adoption was found for control measures of harmful disease and insets followed by management of feed, fertilizer application in pond.
