Abstract

The designer milk is scientific evidence of nutritionally enhanced milk modified to consumer preferences. This is used for specific components of food and that affect greater health benefits of human beings. One or more targeted issues can be solved with modified food and easily apply to daily routine of human being. Milk is a one of the best and complete food where may give extra nutrition and use as a nutraceuticals through changes in composition of bovine milk by gene manipulation of milch animals. Designer milk has certain specific values such as improve the immunity, utilization of lactose and alleviate diarrhoea, low fat, more protein, less lactose, changed aminoacid and fatty acid profiles and without-lactoglobulin are important properties of designing milk for human health point of view. Designer milk derive to improve the technological properties of the milk to obtain high quality of cheese, yoghurt, butter, infant formula.
