Abstract

A pathogenicity study was conducted against the root knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita on gerbera. Significant reduction in plant growth compared to uninoculated control plants was observed at an initial inoculum levels of 1000 nematodes and considered as the damaging threshold level. The rate of multiplication of M. incognita was highest at the lowest initial inoculum level and vice versa.
