An experiment was designed to assess the toxicity of fungicides on mycelial growth of Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana. All fungicides (Carbendazim 50 WP, Tricyclazole 75WP, Hexaconazole 5 SC, Propiconazole 25 EC, Mancozeb 75 WP and Chlorothalonil 75 WP) tested in vitro significantly inhibited mycelial growth of the fungus. Which were relatively less toxic to mycelial growth and spore production (P = 0.05) of the fungal pathogen. These fungal pathogen may enable to reduce the number of fungicide sprays and thus, may be used for integrated pest management.
