Relationship Between Attitude of Farmers towards Organic Farming

The present investigationwas undertaken in Anand district of Gujarat state. The findings of the study state that majority of the farmers were in the middle age group with small size of family, small to medium size of land holding, 3 to 4 milch animals higher secondary level of education and membership in one organization were found with mediumtohigh income and had high level of scientific orientation, achievement motivation, innovativeness, knowledge, mass media exposure and high to very high level of market orientation and extension participation. The findings of this independent variables viz. education, size of land holding, annual income, herd size, social participation, extension participation, mass media exposure, scientific orientation, innovativeness, achievement motivation, market orientation and knowledge had positive and highly significant correlation with the attitude of farmers towards organic farming. The variable like age and size of family shows non-significant and negative relationship with the attitude of farmers towards organic farming.
