This study aims to contribute to understanding the effect of mentoring in the health sector and how service quality is affected. A review of the literature on the impact of mentoring on the health sector, (28) articles and references was reviewed. The main models and dimensions of mentoring that affect the health sector were identified. The articles review revealed that mentoring affects the performance of doctors and nurses in the health sector. Few studies were conducted in the health sector effect of mentoring at the workplace and quality of outcomes. This study’s value is significant for both the private and the public health sector, which seeks to improve the quality of their services.
