Job Satisfaction among Employees in Banking Sector: A Literature Review

Abstract

The literature review on job satisfaction of employees, specifically in banking sector, has been made with the major aim to provide job satisfaction that will help for the growth and development of organisation. The literature identifies the various factors which have a significant impact on job satisfaction. In this paper, an endeavour has been made to give an overview of various factors like personal, organisational, social and environmental factors. Each factor is having different sub-elements that will have a direct/indirect influence on increasing or decreasing the level of job satisfaction.

The data were collected mainly from secondary sources like journals, websites, books and others.
