The slums denoting dilapidated and substandard housing are present in almost every country of the world. As they represent a blot on the city's landscapes urban planners are often engaged in thinking about their removal. But the question arises whether we can actually eliminate them? No, hence the present paper makes a discovery of various options or strategies that can adopted while for their relocation as by the government and other competent authorities.
