Abstract

The persistent use of fossil fuels, particularly coal, oil, and natural gas, has been well known for harming the ecosystem. The unsustainable rate of extraction of these limited resources contributes to habitat degradation, air pollution, and climate change. Ecosystems deteriorate whenever energy demands escalate. Delicate ecological balances have been disturbed by habitat fragmentation, mining, and deforestation. The immediate consequences encompass soil erosion, water pollution, and biodiversity loss. It is high time to switch to renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydro. These substitutes provide cleaner energy without endangering ecosystems or exhausting limited resources. Employing renewable energy must be encouraged, the use of fossil fuels must be demoralized, and sustainable habits must be promoted. International collaboration is necessary to handle this worldwide issue.
