This study was meant to assess perception of, and attitude towards E-payment system among university students in Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, Nigeria. It was a survey research which employed questionnaire format for data collection. A total of 546 students were sampled from the student population, from undergraduate level up to post-graduate level. The participants included 245(44.9%) males and 301(55.1%) females, with a mean age of 24.56 years (SD =5.43). In terms of marital status, 332 (60.81%) were unmarried while 214(39.19%) were married. In respect of educational status, 205(37.5%) possessed maximum qualification of school certificates; 147(26.9%) possessed maximum qualifications of Diploma certificates; 95 (17.4%) had maximum qualifications of Higher National Diploma while 99(18.1%) had maximum qualifications of First Degrees (i.e. B.Sc/B.A./B.Ed/B.Eng/B.Agric). The results showed that there was no significant gender differences on Perception of E-payment system [t (544) =1.04, P >.05], and attitude towards E-payment system [(544) =1.25, P>.05]. The results also showed that there was no significant age difference (use of s removed) in perception of E-payment system [t (544) =1.10, P >.05], and attitude towards E-payment system [t (544) =.97, P >.05]. However, the results showed significant differences between unmarried and married students on perception of, and attitude towards E-payment system. It was clearly revealed that married students were significantly different from unmarried students on perception of E-payment system [t (544) =3.43, P <.001], and attitude towards E-payment system [t (544) =2.87, P <.013. The results also showed that there was significant difference between students within 100–200 level and 300 level and above on perception of E-payment system [(544) =3.43, P >.01], and attitude towards E-payment system [t (544) =4.63, P <.001). Finally, the results revealed that there was significant relationship between perception of electronic payment system and attitude towards electronic payment system. The results revealed a significantly positive relationship between perception of electronic payment system and attitude towards electronic payment [r=.48**, P <.001].
