Abstract

Researches have suggested that a crucial factor for successful technology integration into the classroom is the teacher (e.g., Bitner and Bitner,2002; Zhao and Cziko,2001). Researchers have found that teachers attitude towards technology use have been universally recognized as an important factor for the success of technology integration in education (Rogers,1995; Windschitl and Sahl, 2002). Teacher Education students have a significant role to play in the sustained application of ICT in schools. It is imperative, therefore, that they are exposed to effective use of ICT in their training (Steketee, 2006). If the students have favourable attitude towards ICT, then there may be a change for them to be motivated in acquiring knowledge of ICT. Therefore, the present study has been conceptualized. The present study is conducted on 150 pupil teachers of two Colleges of Education affiliated to Kurukshetra University. The investigator has used a self made questionnaire to collect the data for the current study. Analysis comprises of the percentage to assess the attitude of the Pupil teachers toward ICT and t- test to discover differences between the attitudes of pupil teachers.
