This article is a concise introduction to the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), a framework acclaimed globally as a transformative pedagogy that facilitate teachers to in turn facilitate students to construct knowledge in the areas of their schools subjects. The stated objectives of this article are to dismantle apprehensions that teachers carry with them about applying technology to their pedagogical practice. Furthermore, this article intends to provide teachers with wide variety of web2.0 technologies that are openly available on World Wide Web for free and encourage them to utilize them for every day classroom teaching learning. However, this requires an understanding about the importance of TPACK and its inter-linkages with web 2.0 with which teachers can transform their classroom practice and enhance the overall achievement of children belonging to diverse sections of Indian society. It also highlights the potential educational implications of Web.20 and the ways Web2.0 can enhances the teachers’ competencies via TPACK.
