Effect of nutraceuticals on blood glucose level among adults with type 2 diabetes - A pilot study

A RCT was done to assess and compare the effect of Ladies finger water versus Fenugreek seeds water on the blood glucose level among Type 2 Diabetes. 30 study participants were selected by computer generated randomization. Study findings revealed that mean difference and significant effect of ladies finger water 27mg/dl with p value 0.016, fenugreek seeds water 24.85mg/dl with p value 0.029 and control group 13.3mg/dl with p value 0.465. Study concluded that ladies finger water and fenugreek seeds water are superior in controlling blood sugar among diabetics than the control group with minimal mean difference between experimental groups.
