Abstract

Urinary Incontinence (UI) also known as overactive bladder, that often goes under treated but it can be controlled. It's more common in older people, especially for women. The bladder control issues can be embarrassing and causes people to interpret in their normal activities. In worldwide, UI affects 17–45% of women and stress UI is responsible for 48% of all cases. The detailed history, physical examination and investigations are crucial to identify diagnosis underlying incontinence symptoms to select effective therapy of management. The conservative treatment with pelvic floor muscle training and lifestyle modifications are still in first line of management when compared to medical and surgical management.
