Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a disease of inadequate control of blood glucose level. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a lifelong disease which happens when the body can’t use insulin properly. A Pre-experimental study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of curry leaves powder on fasting blood glucose level among 30 people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. One group pre-test post-test design was used. The fasting blood glucose was assessed using glucometer. Participants were selected using non-probability convenient sampling technique. The obtained paired ‘t’test value was 13.16. It shows the effectiveness of curry leaves powder in reducing fasting blood glucose level.
