Community Health Nursing is a service field within Nursing that emphasizes preventive, protective, and rehabilitative care to specific communities.
To assess the attitude and career preferences of baccalaureate nursing students towards Community Health Nursing.
Descriptive survey design was used to collect data. By using non-probabilitypurposivesampling100studentswereselected. Likert scale was used to assess the attitude of students towards Community Health Nursing and Rank order scale to assess the career preference of students with regard to community health nursing.
Result revealed that only 6% of students had desirable attitude towards community health nursing and a small number of students have chosen community health nursing as their career option.
It is crucial to in still a positive and passionate attitude towards CHN in nursing students during their under graduate studies, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to this vital field.
