Abstract

The term personalized medicine, precision medicine, stratified medicine and P4 medicine are used interchangeably to describe this concept though some authors and organization use this expressions separately to indicate particular nuances. Personalized medicine represents a paradigm shift in health care, tailoring medicinal treatment to individual patients based on the unique genetics, environmental and lifestyle profiles. By integrating advanced genomics, epigenomics and data analytics, the personalized medicine enables precise diagnosis and treatment to enhance patient outcome, improved efficacy and reduced side-effects for targeting therapies and interventions. It empowered patient engagement in continuous learning and adaptation.
