Abstract

Poly cystic ovarian syndrome knowledge promotes the life style and reduces the cases of infertility.The study aims at assessing the effectiveness of video assisted teaching regarding knowledge onPoly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) adolescent girls. A Quasi-Experimental research design wasconducted by using 70 samples which were selected by using purposive sampling technique. Thefindings of the study revealed that video assisted teaching had improved the knowledge regardingPoly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome with the T value of 5.729 (p<0.001). The study result showed that videoassisted teaching in creating awareness regarding Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome among adolescentgirls.
