Effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge, attitude and practice regarding silicosis

A study was conducted among 40 samples with stone quarry workers. The objective were to find out the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge, attitude and practice regarding silicosis among stone quarry workers. A quasi experimental study was conducted with one group pretest post test research design in selected area, Salem. The findings revealed that there was a significant improvement in the knowledge, attitude and practice of stone quarry workers after the structured teaching program and it suggested the need for education regarding silicosis for the stone quarry workers.
