Risk level and the knowledge on risk factors and warning signs of stroke among hypertensive patients

Non-communicable diseases have been on the rise even in rural areas. A community based survey was carried out among 109 hypertensive patients which revealed most of them had inadequate knowledge & their risk of developing stroke was high suggesting preventive efforts.
