Abstract

The study aimed to assess the effects of consanguineous marriage among school students in selected schools at Bangalore. A descriptive research design was used in this study. 60 samples were selected by adopting non-probability convenience sampling technique. A questionnaire was used to assess the level of knowledge regarding consanguineous marriage the reliability score was r=0.78. The overall mean score percentage were 77%. The mean score of consanguineous marriage of females were 53. There was no significant association between the level of knowledge regarding consanguineous marriage of school students and their mother's education.
