Information Education Communication (IEC) on knowledge regarding environmental hygiene

The aim of the study was to assess effectiveness of IEC package on knowledge regarding environmental hygiene among women residing in selected rural area at Trichy. A Pre experimental one group pre-test post test design. 30 samples were selected by using non probability convenience sampling technique. It was concluded post test value higher than pre-test value and IEC package found to be effective. There was significant (p < 0.001) association between knowledge with education and type of house.
