Children are tender human being who needs support in all forms for their all-round development. Children have rights and liberties like adults. The present study aimed to assess the knowledge and practice on child abuse among mothers residing in selected villages at Kirumambakkam Primary Health Centre areas, Puducherry. A descriptive research design was used and study was carried out in selected villages at Kirumambakkam among 60 mothers through convenience sampling technique. Results depicted that 53.3% mothers had adequate knowledge followed by 45% of mothers had moderately adequate knowledge and 1.7% mothers had inadequate knowledge. With regard to practice 76.7% mothers have adequate practice and 23% of mothers had inadequate practice regarding child abuse.
