Abstract

Assessment of academic stress among higher secondary students in selected school, at Nazareth, Thoothukudi Dist was undertaken during the year 2013 using a descriptive approach. The study findings revealed that Out of 65 (6) 9.21% of the samples had no academic stress, (11) 17% of the samples had slight academic stress, (23) 35.38% of the samples had moderate academic stress, (17) 26.15% of the samples had high academic stress and (8) 12.30% of the samples had extreme academic stress.
