Effect of video assisted teaching on knowledge regarding management and prevention of food borne diseases among high school students

The study concluded that video assisted teaching was effective in improving the knowledge of high school students and in the comparison rural students had more knowledge than urban students. Pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design and convenient sampling was used. The result revealed that the mean score for pre-test was 8.03 for rural and 6.8 for urban students. Unpaired ‘t ’test was 3.075 which was significant at 0.05 level with df: 118. Paired ‘t ’value of rural and urban students was 21.22 and 17.62 respectively at 0.05 level with df: 59.
