Abstract

The present study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of video assisted teaching programme on knowledge regarding common medical emergencies among primary school teachers in selected school at Namakkal district. Totally 40 primary school teachers were selected and major finding showed that 31(77.5%) teachers had inadequate level of knowledge and it was increased to 27(67.5%) had adequate and 13(32.5%) teachers had moderate level of knowledge through the administration of video teaching programme. This depicted that video teaching program had played vital role in increasing the knowledge level on common medical emergencies.
