Effectiveness of self instructional module on knowledge regarding life style modification of diabetes mellitus among clients at urban and rural health centre

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the challenging public health problems in the past 2 centuries. The present study aim is to assess the effectiveness of selfinstructional module on knowledge regarding life style modification of diabetes mellitus among urban and rural areas. A quasi experimental research design was used for the study. A total 100 samples were selected (50) sample from urban (50)sample of rural who met the inclusion criteria 100 samples by using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by using a self-structured interview questionnaire. The results showed that majority of urban (94%) and in rural (78%) had adequate knowledge.
