Abstract

Aim: The main aim of the study is to assess the knowledge & attitude regarding Plastic waste management (PWM) among the adolescents. Results: In knowledge regarding PWM 63% of the adolescents have no knowledge. 68% of the students had source of information through school programmes. 65% had adequate knowledge in post test & 63% had Favorable Attitude in post test. The “t” value of Knowledge is 15.801 and that of Attitude is 9.633 which is more than the table value 2.00 and the hypothesis was supported Interpretation and Conclusion; The findings of the present study showed that there is a significant difference between the pre-test & post-test knowledge level and attitude of the adolescents about plastic waste management.
