Utility of vaccine campaigns to control coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) is not merely dependent on vaccine efficacy and safety. Vaccine acceptance among the general public and healthcare workers appears to have a decisive role in the successful control of the pandemic. The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of Video Assisted Teaching Programme regarding Covid 19 Vaccination on Knowledge and Attitude among adults. A pre experimental- one group pre test-post test design was used. Non-probability purposive sampling technique was adopted to collect 60 samples. Structured questionnaire was used to collect the data from 60 Adults in the age group of 20-60 years. The study findings revealed that,majority 54(90%) of the samples had moderate level of knowledge on Covid-19 Vaccination. Only 6(10%) samples had inadequate knowledge in pretest. In post test 59(98.3%) had adequate knowledge, only 1(1.7%) sample had moderate knowledge. Majority 34(57%) samples had moderate level of attitude on Covid-19 Vaccination and 26(43%) of the samples had unfavorable attitude in pretest. In post test 55(91.7%) had favorable attitude 5(7.3%) had moderate attitude towards Covid 19 vaccination among adults and there was significant association between the knowledge on Covid - 19 vaccination with the demographic variables such as knowledge, occupation and source of information at p<0.05 level of significance and there was no significant association between the attitude on Covid - 19 Vaccination with the demographic variables and there was statistically significant difference in the knowledge and attitude between pre test and post test at < 0.00001 level of significant.
