Expressed emotion (EE) is a tool and a reliable psychosocial predictor of relapse in Psychiatric illness. Expressed emotion is a indicator to measure the critical, hostile, or overly involved family member toward patient with disorder. A majority of the persons diagnosed with psychological disorders may go through rehabilitation to recover. The most common factor contributing such relapse after rehabilitation is expressed emotion in the environment in which they are living with the relatives after treatment.
