A recent pandemic infectious disease caused by SARS Covid 19 had a special attention throughout the world. Most people infected with the virus required medical attention. It was a great challenge for the health care providers. To face this challenge, nurses had to identify the psychological impact among patients with COVID 19. The psychological dilemma during their home isolation altered their quality of life. Hence, descriptive study design was undertaken to assess depression, anxiety and stress among level 1 COVID-19 patients on home isolation at a tertiary hospital. One hundred patients on home isolation were recruited using simple random sampling technique. Electronic tool was sent and communicated over telephone. 16% had extremely severe anxiety, 5% had depressive symptoms, 2% had stress. Data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Hence a telecommunication programme for home isolation patients for their psychological management was implemented across the hospital.
