An experimental study was conducted to assess the outcome of Assertiveness training among adolescents in selected school, Chennai. The main objective of the study was to determine the outcome of Assertiveness training among adolescents. Sixty adolescents who have fulfilled the criteria were selected by using simple random technique. (30 for experimental group and 30 for control group). Pre test level of Assertiveness was assessed by using modified Rathus assertive schedule. Assertiveness training was given for one month with four techniques. Each technique is given for each week over one month period. The experimental group received one hour for each day for 30 days and then post test level was assessed. There was a increase in mean value from 52.17 to 63.57 and "t" value 15.141 *** was found to be highly significant at p < 0.001 level of significance. The results showed that there was a significant difference between pretest and post test level of Assertiveness among adolescents in the experimental group. Therefore, the RH1 hypothesis was accepted.
