Abstract

A study was done to assess the adjustmental problems among first year B. Sc. Nursing students in KMCH, College of Nursing, Coimbatore and to find out the association between the adjustmental problem at various level of home, social, emotional and health among first year B. Sc. Nursing students with selected demographic variables. Descriptive research design was used. The sample size of the study is 30 students. The findings reveals that there is no significant association between religion, interest and hobbies, favorite subject except most admirable person and medium of language and adjustmental problems among first year B. Sc. Nursing students in emotional. The study revealed that the adjustmental problems are common in emotional than social, health, and home. To contribute effectively towards prevention of maladjustments problem and there by mental health problem among adolescents, nursing teachers need to undertake studies of present nature, so that she can actively involve herself and also help the other teachers in identifying adjustmental problem of adolescents and also prevent the mental health problem.
