The behavioral problems of children undertake different dimension due to the changes of life style of human beings. The Present study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on the knowledge and attitude of primary school teachers regarding identification and management of behavioral problems of children. Study was conducted using Quasi experimental one group pretest and post test design among 40 Primary School Teachers who were selected using simple random sampling at selected school Vijayawada. Data was collected through self administration method in their respective class room using 50 items MCQs Questionnaire and 50 items attitude scale developed by the investigator. Planned Teaching Programme (PTP) on Identification and management of Behavioral Problems among Children was conducted after the pretest among teachers, which was followed by post test. The collected data was analyzed using appropriate descriptive & inferential Statistics. The results revealed that there was significant improvement in the scores of Knowledge and attitude on Behavioral Problems of children in post test than the pretest (p < 0.001). There was also positive correlation ('r’=0.48) between Knowledge and attitude which is statistically significant at P < 0.001 level. Hence, the study concluded that PTP is found be effective method to bring awareness on Behavioral Problems in children and to refer and manage the children effectively.
