Knowledge and protection from domestic violence among adolescence at selected Schools in Kancheepuram District

A descriptive study to assess knowledge and protection from domestic violence among Adolescence. A random sampling technique was used for 50 adolescence at Maria Auxillium girl's higher secondary school. A structured questionnaire was used to assess the level of knowledge regarding domestic violence among school students. The result showed that majority of students had 39(78.0%) had moderately adequate knowledge, were as 6(12.0%) had adequate knowledge, and 5(10.0%) had inadequate knowledge regarding domestic violence.
