Abstract

Many children may struggle in school with some topics or skills from time to time. A study was conducted on effectiveness of psycho education module on knowledge regarding early identification of children with learning disability among primary school teachers in selected schools at Chennai. Pre experimental one group pretestposttest design among 60 primary school teachers selected by convenient sampling. Data was collected by Socio demographic tool has eight items and self-structured knowledge questionnaire has 20 items. After pretest psycho education module implemented by six sessions regarding four aspects of learning disability. On eighth day and posttest was conducted. There was significant difference between pretest and posttest knowledge score. Therefore, the increase in knowledge level reflects the effectiveness of psycho education module.
