Effectiveness of Central Line Bundle on Prevention of Catheter Associated Blood Stream Infection Among Patients with Central Line Catheter

An experimental study was done to evaluate the effectiveness of Central Line Bundle on Prevention of Catheter Associated Blood Stream Infection (CABSI) among patients with Central Line Catheter at selected hospitals, Salem. Quasi Experimental non randomized control group post test only design th was used for this study. Post test assessment was done on 6^th day for both Experimental and Control group by using Central Line Insertion Site Assessment score and Observational Checklist to assess CABSI. The study concluded that Central Line Bundle was effective in preventing the Catheter Associated Blood Stream Infection among patients with central line catheter.
