Knowledge Regarding Life Style Practices for Glycemic Control Among Diabetic Patients at a Selected Hospital

There are currently over 537 million adults living with diabetes and this total is projected to increase up to 643 million by 2030 and 783 million by 2045. Diabetes is responsible for 6-7 million deaths in 2021, (i.e.) 1 in every 5 seconds, (WHO). The structured knowledge questionnaire was formulated and 30 diabetic patients were interviewed. The study results were found that least of 4(13.33%) patients had inadequate knowledge, majority of 16 (53.33%) patients had moderate knowledge and 10(33.34%) patients had adequate knowledge.
