Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) is a life-saving technique that mimics the natural function of the heart and lungs. The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of training programme on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation among the nurses. Pre experimental one group pre test and post test design was used, with purposive sampling technique among 50 nurses. Most of the nurses (77%) had inadequate knowledge in pre test but (81.75%) had adequate knowledge in post test. The results showed that training programme has significantly increased the knowledge level of the nurses on ECMO with the t value of 21.0 at statistically significant level of (p<.001).
