Among cardiac emergencies myocardial infarction is the major public health concern. A descriptive study was done to assess the factors influencing pre hospital delay among 30 patients with myocardial infarction using convenience sampling technique. The study findings revealed that none of them used ambulance to reach hospital, 70% of them were more than 5 km away from the hospital, 63.4% of them took more than 2 hours to reach hospital and 70% of them were waiting for spontaneous recovery.
