Photovoice

Photovoice is one of several qualitative method used in Community Based participatory research (CBPR). It is a blending approach of narration with photography used to explore the community issues. The combination of different methods in photovoice allowed us to access a broader and deeper level of knowledge, gaining a greater comprehensiveness of understanding of the topic from the participants’ point of view. Photography training and building a relationship with participants are vital.This methodology focus on social change.
