Assessment is an integral part of the health care profession. The main goal of assessment is to improve learning process for effective outcome of educational programs. OSCE had a strong educational impact on students. It is an opportunity for them to assess themselves, to learn, and focus on their individual responsibility. Aim of the study was to assess the knowledge and perception towards Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) among Nursing faculty. Non experimental survey design was adopted and convenience sampling technique was used to select 40 samples. Self-Structured Knowledge questionnaires, perception scale were used to collect the data from samples. Results: Among 40 samples majority of them were 22 (55%) B.Sc.(N) faculty, 25 (62.5%) of them had 0–5 years of teaching experience, 26 (65%) had no previous experience and evaluation of OSCE. Out of the 40 samples, 26 (65%) of them had moderate knowledge with mean S.D of 6.05 +1.377, 39(97.5%) of them had good perception with mean S.D of 76.83 + 11.565. In association of variables, education and designation had significant association between the level of knowledge with p of < 0.001 among Nursing faculty. Adequately planned training programs related to the OSCE for faculty which helps the faculty to prepare effectively to organise the OSCE examination. In the current situation, it may be realistic to expect its inclusion in the evaluation schedule of universities and in day-to-day assessment of students to improve their clinical competence.
