Abstract

Based on the NABH standards (NABH 2014) and the international professional standards, a framework on Accreditation Preparedness was conceptualized at GHC, applied and evaluated over the past 3 years incorporating Nursing, Medical and Operational excellence (TRIO Team concepts of HCO) to improve clinical outcome, patient safety and satisfaction of both patient & staff with a fine balance between cost, quality and safety. Nursing and Medical team focuses on the clinical excellence and clinical outcome whereas the operational team focuses on the clinical and non clinical operations.
