Abstract

Nurses at all levels, including within government and policy sectors make significant contributions to developing, strengthening and maintaining resilience in health systems. This study was undertaken to know the knowledge regarding health system resilience among the staff nurses. Research design was descriptive research design. The study was conducted in Government head quarters hospital, Padmanabapuram. The sample size was 30 Staff nurses selected by using non-probability convenient sampling technique. Self administered questionnaire on health system resilience was prepared and administered. The findings showed that 2(6.66%) of them had adequate knowledge and 24 (80%) of them had moderate knowledge, 4 (13.33%) of them had inadequate knowledge.
