The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is a versatile multipurpose evaluative tool that can be utilized to assess health care professionals in a clinical setting. It assesses competency, based on objective testing through direct observation. The aim of the study was to assess the attitude towards OSCE among undergraduate nursing students in selected educational institute, Chennai. A descriptive design was used. The study was conducted among 150 undergraduate nursing students studying in first, second and third year who had undergone OSCE examination. Findings reveals that 85.51% of Nursing students had favorable attitude towards OSCE. Age (2 = 7.940 at p=0.05 level) and the other demographic variables had no significant association with attitude towards OSCE.The students felt thatOSCE was well-structured and sequential, provide opportunities to learn and reflected real life situation.
