Case study on community based - Nurse led health assessment Kiosks

The epidemic of NCDs cannot be halted simply by treating the sick, healthy persons have to be protected by addressing the root causes. OAHC conducted a community survey to identify the health needs in the villages and to tackle these important health issues at the grass root level, Nurse Led Health Empowerment Programmes are started with the support of Rotary club. In an attempt to provide comprehensive primary health care at the local level a “Nurse-led Health Kiosk”(open-air, peer-lead clinic) was evolved.
