All women have right to a safe and positive childbirth experience, whether or not they have a confirmed COVID-19 infection.All COVID-19 vaccines approved by WHO for emergency use listing have been through randomized clinical trials to test their quality, safety and efficacy. To be approved, vaccines are required to have a high efficacy rate of 50% or above. After approval, they continue to be monitoredfor ongoing safety and effective. Methods: Aquantitative research approach with quasi experimental design, one group pre-test and post-test was adapted for this study. The samples include 50health care providers working in private and government hospitals were selected by convenient sampling technique. Results: The findings showed that the mean post-test knowledge score of theselected health care workers working in private and government hospitals was 7.30 which was higher than the mean pre-test score of 5.48. It was found to be highly significant with a calculated value of -6.45, p<0.5, which shows that the mean improvement in knowledge score was significant.
