Abstract

A 23 year old primipara mother was presented with symptoms of episiotomy wound infection on her 11th day with involvement of vaginal mucosa and perineal muscles. A clinical diagnosis was made as Episiotomy wound dehiscence and Perineal infection. With antibiotics, antimicrobial, and regular wound care she recovered. Discharged on her 28th day of postpartum after re-suturing
