Leucorrhoea is abnormal vaginal discharge due to bacteria, fungi, and parasites that may be whitish, yellowish, reddish, and blackish in colour. A comparative study to assess the effect of salt solution wash Versus warm water wash on leucorrhoea among post menopausal women at Madurai. The study used a True experimental (Pre test Post test) research design among 60 (30 intervention group I and 30 intervention group II) post menopausal women who were selected by Probability sampling (simple random - lottery method) technique. Salt solution wash was given for intervention group I and warm water wash was given for intervention group II twice a day for three days and assessed by modified leucorrhoea assessment scale. Conclusion: The study concluded that salt solution wash was effective in reducing leucorrhoea (p=0.00001) among post menopausal women in intervention group I.
